L'Impero della Luce is a duo that deals with new forms of soundscape. Founded by J. Merrich and eeviac, it explores –  through the techniques of electromagnetic induction – the sounds of electric current emitted and dispersed by technologies invented by man; amplifies and organizes the inaudible sounds of electricity produced by everyday objects and urban environments in real time. Since 2020, he has collaborated with SOMA Laboratory, presenting the charm of Ether devices to listeners.
